YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
We respect your privacy. This page explains how we handle enquiries, how we use website statistics and how you can choose not to be included in those statistics.
Who is responsible?
Steve and Sandra Skinner, performing as Skinner & T’witch, are responsible for the personal information we use in connection with this website. For privacy questions or requests, email contact us using our contact form.
When you contact us
If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your email address, your message and any other information you choose to include. We use this to reply, discuss bookings and manage our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining our professional contacts. Where you ask about a booking or contract, we may also use the information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to fulfil that contract.
We use Gmail to manage email and our website hosting service to deliver contact-form messages. We keep correspondence for as long as it remains useful for enquiries, bookings and our ongoing relationships. Some correspondence may be kept long term. You can ask us to delete personal information; we will consider your request and explain if we need to retain anything, for example to meet a legal obligation.
Visitor statistics and your choice
We use DooStats, installed on our own website hosting, to understand which pages people visit and how the site is used. Process Visitor IP is switched off. We do not use visitor IP addresses in DooStats to recognise individual visitors or determine their location.
The statistics include page views, dates and times, referring website domains, browser and device categories, and site events such as missing pages. These are aggregate usage statistics, rather than a reliable count of individual people. The current statistics-retention setting is 45 days.
Statistics are enabled by default. You can switch them off for future visits in this browser using the button below. This does not remove statistics already recorded.
Checking your statistics preference…
We remember an opt-out using a cookie called st_statistics_disabled, which lasts for one year, and a matching browser-storage setting, which remains until cleared or changed. These store your choice, not a visitor identifier. If you clear this website’s cookies and browser storage, use a different browser or device, you will need to make the choice again. If your browser blocks storage, we may be unable to remember it.
Website hosting and security
Our website is hosted by Krystal. Hosting and security systems receive technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser information when you connect to the site. This is separate from the DooStats IP setting. Technical logs and brief security checks may be used to operate the website, prevent abuse and investigate faults, on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site reliable and secure.
Other services on this website
Some features connect to other providers. Your statistics choice above only controls DooStats.
- Google Fonts: fonts are currently downloaded from Google when the page loads. Google receives information needed to make that connection, including your IP address.
- YouTube: playing an embedded video connects your browser to YouTube. YouTube may receive device and usage information and use cookies according to its own settings and policies.
- Ents24: our live-shows listing connects to Ents24 to display event information. Ents24 receives connection information and information about the listing being loaded.
See Google’s privacy policy (including Gmail and YouTube), Ents24’s privacy policy and Krystal’s privacy policy for their handling of information. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Their policies explain their processing and international-transfer arrangements.
Links to music shops, social media and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to its use, or receive a portable copy. To make a request, email contact us using our contact form. We may need to check your identity before responding.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are concerned about how your information is handled.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our website or the way we use personal information changes.
