Skinner & T'witch are very excited to have been back in the studio, in sunny Headingley, Leeds, finishing working on our forthcoming folk-rock album, 'The Songcatcher'. Out Summer 2024!

Yesterday we finished our folk-rocky track, 'East London Streetfighter', which features the stupendously talented Joshua Burnell on keys, Hugh Bradley on bass, and John Arneson on drums. We decided to use T'witch's 'guide vocal' for drums and bass, which is the one and only time that T'witch has, and probably ever will, play the song. ❤️????

This song is about T'witch's father, John Twitchett, born in London's East End, in 1932, who was a child of war. He was bombed out 5 times during WW2, and had experiences that haunted him for the rest of his life. As a young man he was an amateur boxer, from the same stable as Terry Spinks. Dad had immense grit, and stamina, and ended up working for Alan Sugar, taking the fight from the streets into the boardroom.

This track (again!) is positively kicking. What a 'band'!

Oh yes, we're back...❤️????
