Skinner & T'witch are delighted that their new song, 'The Iron Fish Remembers', has been included on a cd, called 'Fish Songs', which has been produced featuring all eleven Bay Folk Weekend Songwriting Competition entries, and which will be available at the Bay Folk Weekend (8th/9th/10th of June), for £5, with all proceeds going to the RNLI. Copies are also available online (+ £1.50 postage & packing) via the Bay Folk Weekend www.folkweekend.rhbay.co.uk and the Bay Folk Club www.bayfair.co.uk/folkclub websites.

Congratulations to the joint winners of the competition: John Drake, with ‘My Heart belongs to the Sea’, and Graham Wilkinson/Chequered Past, with ‘Feed The Fish’. A special prize went to the Bard of Whitby Town, Tony Morris, for the most entertaining entry.

Skinner & T'witch's new single, 'The Iron Fish Remembers' will be played again this week on Big Uncle Tony Haynes' excellent FAB Folk & Blues on Wetherby's Tempo FM (Wednesdays from 8-10pm UK BST), along with the 10 other marvellous entries to the Robin Hood's Bay Bay Folk Weekend's Song Competition 2018. You can listen in via: www.tempofm.co.uk or via www.tunein.com

'The Iron Fish Remembers' is a song about mermaid magic. The song celebrates and commemorates the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI) collection box, in the form of a fish, which is situated in Robin Hood's Bay, and which has been there since 1887, collecting money to save lives at sea.
