Well, what a day that was!

A humongous ‘thank you’ to everyone who came along to/watched online/donated to/played at The Grove Inn in Leeds yesterday for Skinner & T’witch’s 15th Pick n’ Mix We Shall Overcome Acoustic Roots Solidarity Festival, in support of Leeds’ Food-banks! We raised £471!

Steve and I had an amazing day! It was a very great privilege for us to be able to listen to so many hours of wall-to-wall talent, in a warm and supportive environment, with people with shared values. Well done to Joe Solo for igniting the We Shall Overcome spark, so that we can fan the flames, and for his powerful set (as ever!): www.joesolomusic.com

‘Thank you’ so much to Wendy Doyle and Leeds Food-bank volunteers who helped out, and who do such an amazing job week in, week out, supporting people in crisis in Leeds.

A big ‘thank you’ to Yorkshire’s very own Daz in the Hat, BCB Radio presenter and big supporter of independent music, who did a sterling job as guest MC during the evening of the Festival: www.dazinthehat.com

Another big 'thank you' to our amazing Sound Engineer and pal, Carl Rosamond, for 12 hours of sound and video!

A big ‘thank you’ too to Dave Knowlson and everyone at the oh-so-special Grove Inn in Leeds for being so marvellously chilled and helpful and supportive and welcoming.
