Skinner & T'witch are very excited to be returning to play at the fabulous Waveney Folk Club, Gunton Community Hall, Hollingsworth Road Lowestoft NR32 4DZ, on Friday, November 2nd 2018, from 8pm: www.waveneyfolkclub.co.uk

Skinner & T'witch are an original, contemporary folk acoustic duo, performing folk, flamenco, and theatre style songs.

Drawing on music-hall and vaudeville traditions, Skinner & T’witch’s show combines comedy and satire with music to melt the heart.

'The one and only Skinner & T'witch...a pair of comic geniuses'. David Chamberlain, Acoustic Routes, Dapper FM/Blues and Roots Radio

Skinner & T’witch have been on the road since 2014; released three albums; performed widely around the UK; and last year visited the States. Next year they are on route to Australia...

Steve Skinner plays folk guitar with flashes of flamenco – his song-writing was described by BBC Radio Kent as ‘outstanding’.

‘Steve (Skinner) ought to rate himself as one of the best songwriters'. Doug Welch, KentFolk, BBC Radio Kent

T’witch has an exceptional, highly versatile voice, bringing creative harmonies and a multitude of vocal styles.

'T'witch has a hell of a voice, and she knows how to use it'. Liz Franklin, The Folk Garden, Blues and Roots Radio/Eden Folk, Eden FM

Skinner & T’witch are delighted to have reached the FolkDJ-L top 100 artists in December 2017, based airplay from 132 different (largely US and AUS) DJs!

Their second album ‘The Fool’s Journey’ (released on April 1st, 2017) has so far been played by 161+ folk/acoustic DJ’s on 217+ radio stations, internationally.

Skinner & T’witch’s latest album, ‘Everybody’s Grotty’, has been very well received by the folk fraternity, and is being played widely, from Glasgow to Melbourne.

'If you get the chance to see them anywhere, please do yourself a favour, grab it with both hands'. Marianne Doig, Leith Folk Club

'If you get the chance to see them - take it. A wonderful, eclectic set royally entertained the audience. Our advice is book them if you can, and don't miss them if they are playing anywhere near you.' Dave Watson Wood, Ulverston Live Music

Skinner and Twitch’s...songs are stories about life, with twists, and the audience join in enthusiastically. I would highly recommend them for a gig. Their voices blend well together and they are so funny.' Ros Barclay, Makin it on my own with Ros, CamGlen Radio

‘They performed live on my radio show and to say it was stunning is an understatement. Musical styles from North African to comedy country, wonderful harmonies and great stories in between. A fabulous 2 hours!!’ Ian Oliphant, Celtic Music Radio

‘Steve and Sandra are a modern, original folk duo, with fabulous voices that compliment each other. Very entertaining, good rapport with the audience, inviting them to participate in songs and making everyone feel at ease with their performance’. Gina Graham, Nova Scotia Folk Club, Glasgow

‘Skinner & T'witch gave a great performance, with songs of imagination, comedy and sheer beauty.’ Mark Mulrooney, Colindale Folk Club, London

'Absolutely fabulous!!! They are a must see duo!!!' Roger Dakar, The Dusty Miller Folk Club

'The most original duo I have ever heard.' Tony Haynes, FAB Folk & Blues, Vale Radio
